Rip. Make sure to let him climb in all the places he's not supposed to. Get a little plush made of him!!! (It unfortunately costs a fking 200 dlrs :( )get a vid of his meows. Take his picture, print it in color and frame it with his paw marks. Just suggestions. Give him cuddles while hes being put down if your allowed to

I'm so sorry. I've been there and it hurts. Just remember, it's the last loving act that you get to do for Winston Churchill. He gets a peaceful end to a life well lived with the person who loves him most. That's about the best goodbye that any animal (including humans) could hope for. Take care of yourself too. Sending love to you both.

Every dog or cat should have chocolate before they cross the Rainbow Bridge. I've done this with all my furbabies. My vet is a firm believer that our babies shouldn't die without at least experiencing a chocolate "kiss".
Mine were not in any condition to have such a last day, or even a last treat, not because they were ill for a long time but because they came down with sudden and untreatable conditions... Except for one, she could not walk or leave home but spent her last moments in a sunny backyard.

my vet gave my dog multiple lindts before putting him down. and cheese from a can. and a tonnnnne of treats.
Mine got T bone steaks for dinner the last couple days. Not really sposed to because fatty, bones... but not like it mattered by that point. Was talking with my neighbour a few weeks ago and his old boy was on his last legs too. He said the vet actually had a chocolate cake that's somehow laced with the drugs. So the dog eats it and goes out happy at the same time. Not really sure whether I like the idea or not. But I wouldn't judge it.
